§ 16-89. Books for docketing certain expenses incurred by city.

  • The city treasurer shall keep in his office a book in which shall be docketed the expense incurred by the city in abating any nuisance, including the demolition of unsafe structures, removing any unwholesome or offensive matter or cutting or removing weeds, grass or other vegetable matter from any land or premises as provided in ordinances relating thereto, and such expense shall be indexed in the name of the person owning such estate or land at the time the lien for such expense accrued.
