A temporary food establishment shall comply with all sections of this chapter which
are applicable to its operation; except, that the director of public health may modify
specific requirements for physical facilities when, in his opinion, no imminent health
hazard will result. The director of public health may augment the requirements of
this chapter as to temporary food establishments when needed to assure the service
of safe food and may prohibit the sale of certain potentially hazardous food at such
establishments.
