§ 48-11. Altering weights and measures after sealing.

No person shall alter, or permit to be altered, any balance, weight or measure used or kept in the city after the same shall have been sealed by the sealer of weights and measures, or deface, alter or remove, or permit to be defaced, altered or removed, any letter or figure stamped or marked on any such balance, weight or measure by such officer for the purpose of sealing the same.
