§ 48-16. Criminal process for violations involving weights and measures.

The sealer of weights and measures shall promptly procure proper criminal process against any and all persons whom he may believe to be guilty of a violation of any law or ordinance on the subject of weights and measures in the city, which process shall be served by the sealer or, in his discretion, by any other officer authorized to serve the same.
